What an amazing year 2017 has been! I never thought so many people would read my blog in such a short time. It always makes me feel happy and keep me motivated to write more content. I still have so many things to learn and improve but I’m on my way. Knowing which blog posts are the best posts of the year made me realize what kind of content is the more popular one.
Long-distance relationships articles are definitely the most read on the blog and that was a total surprise! I never thought people would be interested in reading that. I totally underestimate the number of people in a relationship like that. Before writing about long-distance relationships I always got annoyed because there wasn’t much content about them and sometimes they were very repetitive. I’m so glad I can help in that way.
Best Posts Of The Year
The following posts are in order!
This post has more than 20,000 views and it’s crazy how that number keeps going up very fast. I can’t thank Pinterest enough for helping me to achieve that! Why do I think it’s popular? My guess is that people are tired of reading and listening why being in a long-distance relationship is bad. They need some positivism! So happy to say this is one of the best posts of the year.
I felt so good writing this post. There’s always a point where you don’t know if you took the best decision or you start wondering if you should keep going or just give up. We need read things like these to keep us motivated!
I remember writing this blog post after hearing a few comments (that weren’t that nice) about my relationship. It can be so upsetting to hear those comments! Some of them aren’t that bad and I know people don’t ask with bad intentions, but when they do it to make me feel bad, then I just react in a bad way.
As so you know. I’m not only in a long-distance relationship. While I’m living in Chile, my boyfriend is in the United States. That not only makes the situation a little more complicated. We also need to think about other things, like visas and money exchange every time we want to visit each other.
This one was a total surprise to me! I’m not sure if people were looking for Secret Santa gift ideas or gifts for people they don’t know well. Either way, in a short time, this post turn out super popular! And I’m so happy about it. Perfect timing to be included in my best posts of the year.
This post started to get many views around the end of November. My guess? People were looking for Christmas gifts for their significant others. And it’s working pretty good! I have a great list of ideas.
By any means, I’m an expert in giving advice for people that want to start a blog. But writing this one was something I would have loved to read before starting one. Just to be ready for the things that were going to come with the experience. And I guess people loved that about this post.
I didn’t know this would make the list of the best posts of the year. So it was a really nice surprise. Growing up is super hard. Especially for someone who is still very dependent on their parents, like me. Starting to feel like that it was a shock, but it was something that needed to happen at some point.
One of my other passions! Reading is something I have to do constantly. Especially romance books. And the lists I always make on the blog are about couples falling in love and their dramas in between. It’s such a great distraction I always make sure to make some time to read.
I believe that quotes are necessary. They can easily boost your mood or confidence by reading them. Or at least that happens to me. I always make sure to keep my favorite quotes close. There are moments where I think I can’t do something in specific or that I’m not enough and quotes always make me feel better.
So what do you think? Which one of this posts are you favorite or you want to read the most? Let me know in the comments!
