Happy Monday! Aren’t you excited that is already February? I have this personal thing with the month though. It always flies by! When I was little I used to hate it. Why? It was the last month before going back to class from my summer break. And the cherry on the cake… It was also the shortest month of the year. How unfair right? Anyway, today blog post is all about SEO. Take note of these 4 tips to go viral with blog titles. So exciting!
When scrolling through hundreds and hundreds of emails, blog posts or just our daily feed of Facebook, our mind gets lost in the thousands of words and blank font that just passes through. One way to get our attention- is making sure there is some sort of trigger to get our interest.
There are various prime factors that you keep in mind when you are tasked with putting out an eye-catching social media post. For example- let’s talk about a WordPress website post that we most often aim at that will catch various attention in the search results
If a person is at the point of Googling something, they are hardly interested in from whom the content comes and they can’t see any of the images. They are basically just looking at your Title and description. So they choose whether or not to follow a particular link by how engaging and eye-catching the title might be.
Statistics even show that an average user will click only one out of the five titles they see in their search result is best. Basically, our task as content creators is to ensure that our own content makes it to that shortlist. I mean, we’ve all been taught that really the title of our blog should be the last part of a tet that people write but I think that it can often lead to an idea that when we are attempting to put together a title, our main job is done and that really all there needs to be completed is the formality of your content.
Truly, what compels us to click something is the title and the single critical detail that makes your content of your work as a content creator truly matter to the person who created it.
So, how do we convince a browsing user that our content is worth reading? Well, there are quite a few basic tricks:
Tips To Go Viral With Blog Titles
1. Use numbers
When thinking of numbers, think of the titles of the articles. A huge portion of them will have numbers. If we try to put some Science behind it, some people prefer such strict pieces because they feel better knowing that they may read only “one way to sell a house in one day” and skip the rest of the article without losing value. They truly are eye-catching- take for example this eye-catching article I wrote for this post. 3 Tips To Go Viral. Not 14..not 10. Just 4. I bet it made you intrigued!
2. Intice Your Reader
A website is just a website and really will be able to cover any given topic in depth. And that’s ok! The post has to be brief and specific- really what an average reader wants from this type of work. Thinking of the title of your work, offer your reader something that they can achieve easily like ‘effortless’ ‘fun’ or ‘ultime’. These words give your reader a promise that something good is about to come once they get to your website!
3. Be Mindful Of Your Readers
Knowing that someone is looking for something precise 0 well that’s your main goal! For example, you might be reading this article to figure out what the 4 tips are to make your blog go viral, right?
