I’m so happy July is over. Last month was slow and not so good. For me and for the blog. I was starting to forget why I started blogging and it became more a chore than something I enjoyed. Thanks, God, at the end everything improved! And now, I’m ready to set my August goals.
I have to admit that I failed in almost all my goals. The motivation wasn’t there. Eat fewer sweets? I end up laughing at myself for being so naive. In winter that’s almost impossible for me. I did reach my goal of 5 books during July. I actually read 7! So that was good. I also failed at going to sleep earlier, but I had so many things in my head that I just couldn’t do it.

1. Read 6 books
Reading will always be part of my goals. On July, I made it possible to read 7 books. So on August shouldn’t be a problem to read 6. Even though it will be a busy month. I’m sure I will make it work.
2. Reach 700 followers on Instagram
Same goal as last month. But this time I’ll make it possible! I started July with 536 followers. And today I have 611. So not that bad. The only thing I want to improve is my engagement. I was barely commenting on pictures. I just liked everything on my feed. It was sad that I couldn’t find time to do it. It’s true that last month my organization skills disappeared!
It’s true when I said July was a not so good month.
3. Try new Pinterest strategies
I’ve been manually pinning for 2 months now and is something that takes time. This month, time will be something I won’t have like before. But I don’t really want to pay for any schedule. Any advice on that? I might need a new routine for that.
4. Lose 2 Kg (4 lbs)
My goal last month about eating fewer sweets, was a joke. So maybe if I change the goal I can make it work. It’s just too hard to say no! 2 Kg is reasonable for a month. I can even try for 3, but I don’t really want to push myself too much. It’s just time to come back to my salad dinners instead of the things I was eating at night time.
5. Write my posts with time
I’ll be very busy with other things happening in my life, that I need to write everything in advance. That way I won’t feel stressed. That’s the last thing I want. My blog is not something that should make me feel that way. I already scheduled all my blog posts for the month. Now I just have to make myself enough time to make it work.
So here they are! Two sheets to plan better this month and succeed with our goals. These printables include:
– An August planner. With a calendar, space to write important dates, notes, and your goals.
– Habit or goals tracker. With space for 8 habits/goals, plus the days of the month to keep track of your progress.
