Hi there, lovelies! Welcome back to my blog! Today I’ll share my favorite lip balms. As a girl with constant chapped lips, I have tried a few. Although, not as many as you might think, since when I find one that works, is hard to change to something new.
Over the years I have tried all the ones in this list (and a few more) of what I consider the best lip balms in the market. I have to add though that, whatever works for me might not be the best for you, but it’s nice when you have options. Especially when you want to try a new lip balms.

I was told once that lip balms have an ingredient that makes you addicted to them. That when you start using them, your lips get so used to it, that they need more and more.
It kinda makes sense, but at the same sounds crazy. I mean yes. I apply them many times a day, but only when I feel like my lips need moisture. I can go hours without it; but at the same time, I can’t leave my house without one, or I know it’s going to be a nightmare if I don’t have access to my lip balm.
Besides, if such addition was real. I’m sure it would be in the news, or at least there would be a warning somewhere. It sounds more like a conspiracy theory.
After reading about that issue online, it seemed like there was some truth in that claim, but it sounds more like a behavioural addiction, rather than an addiction from a component. Which makes more sense.
Best Lip Balms
By far the best lip balm in the market. They are pricey but, to be honest, they are always worth it. I have try the different versions and I love them all (my favorite one is coconut and pear). So it’s up to you, which “flavor” is the best one.
If you just want to try it for the first time, I recommend you to get the original beeswax with vitamin E and peppermint oil. On the other hand, if you are more adventurous, you can get the Best of Burt’s pack of 4, and start from there.
At the moment that pack has a discount, so you are getting each of them for $1.92 instead of the original price of $3.59. I just got mine! Because who doesn’t like a good deal? Get the deal by clicking on the button below.
Another product I like from Burt’s Bees is the Lip Shimmer. That’s what I use when I go out to meet my friends during the day or just when I want to add color to my lips without having to apply lipstick. To keep it casual and cute. It keeps my lips moisturized and looking pretty! You can get them here.
This is the best lip balm for you when are with the flu or with a simple cold. It doesn’t only helps with your super dry lips, but because of the menthol in this, it helps when your are congested as well.
Also, this is a great lip balm for the winter if your lips get extra chapped! Winters in Chile are dry, so you bet I need to be more careful with my lips during that season. This medicated lip balm helps a ton.
You can get the 3-tube value pack ($4.19) by clicking the button below!
I got this lip balm as a gift from Sephora last year for my birthday and I fell in love. Even though is way pricey than the first two options, it’s worth it. Especially if you are looking for a vegan lip balm.
Since I got that free sample I have purchased once. It does the job and I love the formula and the fact that is vegan. I was happy with the product but still hesitant about the price.
I don’t know about you, but for me, a $14 lip balm sounds like a little too much. If you still want to try it, you can get it by clicking the button below.
The benefit of this lip balm, is the fact that lasts for long. Even though it’s a great and classical product, I still don’t know how to feel about the tin. It’s not a big deal but it can be a little frustrating when you need it and can’t open it.
If you don’t care about that, then you should definitely give it a try. The other day I was thinking about getting again and give the packaging a try. Maybe this time I’ll be better at open it.
If you are like me, you have lip balms for different places. One in your purse, another one in your room, maybe another one in your car, etc. The Rosebud Salve tin works better for me when I’m on the go.
You can get it by clicking the button below.
This is the lip balm I’m currently using. I have used the other eos lip balms and I like them. I know there has been some controversy with them, but to be honest, I have nothing wrong to say about their products.
I have been using this lip balm for two week now and I love it. I feel like it’s very different from the original versions and that’s great! I love that you are able to feel the mint and it feels so fresh!

Bonus Tip: How To Get Soft Tips
For some reason, every time I change brands of lip balms my lips go through a transition. They get drier and I start to lose some skin. That sounds so gross I know! I have no idea why that happens, but I have learned how to deal with it.
For that I make sure to exfoliate my lips. That way I can keep them nice and soft. For that I use the BITE BEAUTY Agave+ Weekly Lip Scrub. I have used the e.l.f. Lip Exfoliator before and it gets the job done as well.
What is your favorite lip balm? Is it in this list? Let me know in the comments!
