January was an amazing month. I didn’t feel like it was flying and I got the chance to enjoy every day. The best part of the month was, spending it with my family. I went to Peru to spend New Year’s there and then I went to see my aunt in the Peruvian Amazon, exactly where I had my experience with Ayahuasca. And now that I think about it, I did many things in my personal life during the month of January. I love that! It has been a while since I had the opportunity to spend a full month just for me and my family. Even though I’m not exactly ready to start the new month, I am certain of the February goals I want to achieve. I just hope everything works out like I wanted to.
Also, I want to explain a little why I didn’t do this last December. There were no goals for January and I kinda liked it too. If you were waiting for the planner and habit tracker, I’m sorry I couldn’t do that for the month. Like I explained before, December was a very busy month and January was dedicated to my family. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the freebies and have an amazing February!
1. Read 5 Books
Like always, I need to at least read 5 books every month. So this needed to be part of my February goals. If I don’t make time for this, then I would be very upset with myself. It’s not that hard to make time for the hobbies we love. During January I read 8 new books and re-read like another three. Since I had more time (and a lot of flights) I had the opportunity to read more books.
You can see the books I’ve been reading, in my Goodreads account.
2. Keep Working Out
Since I arrived in Miami, I have been working out every day, or at least five days a week. Mostly jogging and abs exercises. I don’t really have a routine and I just do the exercises I remember or feel like doing. I don’t want to lose the motivation or the enthusiasm I’ve been feeling. So I will definitely try very hard to achieve this one.
3. Send weekly emails to my subscribers
I’ve been lacking so much with this since last September, and I feel so bad for this! I want to create a better connection with my subscribers so I’ll be putting a lot of effort with this. I’m setting a new schedule so I won’t be missing any day (hopefully!). So from next month, you will be having me in your inbox once a week. Yay!
4. Be more productive
I’m the worst at productivity. I read every post I can about this issue; but it’s like, after reading the whole post, I forget all the tips. I’m excellent at organizing the tasks I have to do. I love making to-do lists, writing down everything on my planner and arrange them according to the importance or difficulty. The easier tasks are always the first I do. My day starts great, but when I see something that distracts me… I can’t go back to the thing I wanted to finish. It sucks!
5. Stay positive during the whole month
If there’s something I constantly tell myself is: “It won’t work out”. And I want to change that. I want to be brave and feel like I can do whatever I want and that somehow, I can defy the odds. I just want to be at peace and do it without worrying about the what ifs. I’m so ready for this!
