First Week Of The Year In Snapshots + Goals Planner

The first week of the year is over and now I have all the motivation to make 2019 the best year of my life. Besides, with everything I learned last year (which wasn’t easy) I know I can make it happen.  When life wants to teach you something, it’s usually the hard way. Some might say it’s necessary, and part of me agrees with that; otherwise, I know I wouldn’t learn.

I have high expectations for 2019 and I don’t know if that’s a good thing or not, but I will try my hardest to enjoy it and be happy with all the aspects in my life.

This year I decided not to set yearly goals. Instead, I will manage them in quarters. That way I won’t feel overwhelmed. It makes me feel like I can achieve them easily and without the pressure. I even made a printable to display them in my desk that you can download at the end of this post. God knows my memory is horrible and if I don’t see my goals I will forget about them. What about you? How do you prefer to set your goals?

Tuesday 1st

Tuesday 1st is a national holiday so everyone can spend it at home and relax after a night of partying. Dancing all night long it’s exhausting! I got home that day at 7 AM and I just wanted my bed. So after a few hours of sleep, it was time to eat and do something else.

My family and I watched like five movies that day (one of those Bird Box! It was so funny to watch with my whole family) and we stayed in pajamas almost all day long. I mean… it’s a relaxing day after all! I only took a shower because I had to walk Coco. He was very happy to go out!

Wednesday 2nd

The relaxing day was over so I needed to go back to my routine. During the morning I went to the gym and later that day I went with my mom to one of her friend’s house. There was a cat there, and for some reason, he just thought I was the comfiest place in the house to lay.

I didn’t complain because I love animals and he was super fluffy and soft.

Thursday 3rd

I normally do Zumba Tuesday or Thursday, depending on how I feel. Besides, it’s a great way to break the daily routine at the gym. When I have to do cardio, this is one of my favorites ways to do it. I don’t really like running or jogging so this is something I always enjoy.

Later that day I made the spontaneous decision of changing hosting services. I was using Bluehost before changing to SiteGround. It’s supposed to be better, so I just hope that’s true. I panicked a little when my website wasn’t showing, but apparently, the problem was just me and I just needed to clear my caché.

Making those kind of changes are always a pain, but it’s something that you have to do at some point.

Friday 4th

As you can see, my life right now is the gym and my blog. I started to go to the gym at the beginning of December and I love it! I have never been so constant with the gym before. Now I go 6 days a week! Hopefully, I can keep that up until the winter. That’s going to be the real challenge.

Since my website was down for many hours I couldn’t log in WordPress to finish the blog post. So when I had access, I was able to upload it later that day. If you love reading then it’s a post you are going to enjoy! Click here to read it.

That night I also had a virtual date with my boyfriend. As many of you know I’ve been in a long distance relationship for three years now and it’s hard to do new and fun things when you can’t be in the same place. We tried to watch Banderwatch together but it didn’t work out that well because we kept choosing different options. It was hilarious! Have you watched Black Mirror Banderwatch? Did you like it?

Saturday 5th

On Saturday, I started my day at the gym (again). I was able to watch Fresh Off The Boat (with Constance Wu!) which made my cardio more bearable. Guys, I love that show so much. My boyfriend and I are obsessed with it and we can spend hours on Hulu watching it. I recommend it 100%.

Then, my sister and mom went to the mall. I had to buy a gift for a friend so it was a great opportunity to stop and watch Aquaman. If you haven’t watch it, what are you waiting for! Jason Momoa is the perfect Aquaman and it made me laugh a lot.

Sunday 6th

That Sunday we took Coco to a park so he could socialize with other dogs. He can be a grumpy all man sometimes. So we try to let him know he’s not the only dog in the world. He’s too spoiled.

Also that day my friends and I finally were able to spend a day together. It can be so hard to make all of them agree on a date!  Does that happen in your group of friends? We ordered some pizza and played some fun games. I always have such a good time with them that I wish I could spend more time with them.

[title align=”center” type=”line”]Goals Planner[/title]

I made this goals planner so it can help us remember our goals and achieve them. I hope you like it and let me know if you use them!

Like I mentioned before. I decided to set quarterly goals, so if you are like me, you are going to love this free printable. I also added the monthly goals planner because I know many of you prefer it that way.
