This month has been hard. Is not over yet, but I’m ready for July to come to an end. And even though it has been a tough month, there have been many good moments. The things I’ve been loving lately are more moments rather than products, unlike the past month. And after a few days of not being able to focus and procrastinating big time. I saw the light. Literally. Two days ago the sun came out shining in all its glory and I feel so much better. I’m back to being productive and ready to accomplish many things!
Isn’t it amazing how a ray of sunshine can boost your mood? Vitamin D is very important, people!
I’ve been loving lately the Andes Mountains covered in white
One thing I love the most about living in Santiago, it’s how the Andes look during winter time. Yes, the cold temperatures suck. But honestly, it’s worth it when I get to see it every day. It also means the snowboarding season is here and I’m really excited about it!
I went one time this season and I can’t wait to go again. It’s so much fun! My body can hurt the next day, but at least it’s because I exercised muscles I don’t usually use. This reminds me that I need to start exercising again.
If you love winter sports, Chile has many ski resorts you can visit. My favorite is El Colorado. I’m not an expert rider, so the terrain here suits me well. Other options I like include Valle Nevado and Nevados de Chillán.
Having a date to see my boyfriend
Yes, finally! After struggling for the last five months. We finally bought our plane tickets to see each other again. The happy day will be on August 28th. This time our reunion will be in Peru. Why there? Two reasons. First, it’s cheaper for both of us. I don’t have the money to go to the US at the moment and it’s cheaper for him to go to Lima, rather than Santiago. And secondly, he can meet the other side of my family. That has me very excited! And a total win-win situation.
As you can see, planning and logistics are key in any international long-distance relationship.
Why didn’t I start watching this show before? I have no idea. It has everything I love in a show and I’m obsessed with all the characters. Especially, with Donna. She’s my favorite. And like I mentioned at the beginning of the post, I’ve been through some bad days. And one of the things I did to feel better was watching Suits. Also, I need to add, that one of the reasons why I failed at being productive those days was because of this show.
I’m stuck in season 4 at the moment, and I haven’t watched any episode since last week. But I will start again this weekend.
The seasons of the year don’t have any meaning for me if I don’t have music I can listen to on replay. I still need to add more songs to it. So if you have any suggestions, let me know!
My favorite song so far? Give Love by Andy Grammer.
What have you been loving lately? Is there anything you are obsessed with right now? Let me know in the comments!
